Bone Fight | Using only one hand the wrestlers try to break each other’s grip on the towel or knock each other off balance. |
Boojur Kombang | A ‘wrestling’ game where attaching players attempt to uncover an object and opposing players attempt to stop them. (This version is a limited physical contact version suitable for younger players.) |
Bull Riding | The “cowboy” on top has to stay on top of the “bull” |
Bulldozer | The Bulldozer tries to flatten the defender to the mat. The kneeling wrestler attempts to stay kneeling and then stand up. |
Caged Up | The wrestler must escape a “cage” of 5 or 6 others using only their hips and legs. |
Crack Whip | In Pairs, one has to “escape” from an ankle hold. |
Crickets Wickets | A team game where pairs race to dart through partners legs (wickets) and leap-frog over to start position. |
Epoo Korio | Outdoor game where a team game in which attackers attempt to knock over a mound of sand and defenders try to stop them. The level of physical contact is controlled. |
Face Off | From start position, the bottom wrestler must face his opponent, while the top wrestler must force the other to sit. |
Flopping Fish | Lying side by side, pairs of wrestlers bridge and try to catch their partner on their back. |
Fox Tails | Wrestlers work in pairs facing each other with towels hanging 4 – 6 inches out of the back of their shorts. Each attempts to pull the “Fox Tail” off the other. |
Garumba | In this wrestling game players attempt to push an opposing player out of a circle or past a line. |
HandShake | Pairs, locking forearms, each try to get behind the other. |
Kal Boming | Players on the attacking team attempt to climb on top of the mats and stay there while the defending players attempt to pull and push the attacking players off the mats. |
Kari Woppa | This is a wrestling game where a player attempts to take a ball from another player. |
Knee Tag | In Pairs, each tries to “tag” their opponents inside knee. |
Log Lift | Pairs. each in reverse lift position. First to take opponent off their feet without tripping. |
Meetcha Kambong | A ‘wrestling’ game where attacking players attempt to uncover a buried object and defending players attempt to stop them. |
Pummeling Around | Pairs. Chest to chest, use under-hooks to throw partners to the mat. |
Rescue Mission | Teams in groups of four, “rescuer” must carry the others across the mat. |
Sneaky Snaps | From head-tie start, opponent must attempt snapdown, a shot, or leg attack. |
Spider Fight | In bridge position, head to head, players must push opponent out of bridge position. |
Spinning Bear | In pairs, standing wrestler must get behind the “bear”. |
Switcheroo | Partners lock arms over and under, chest to chest, and attempts to get opponent to the mat. |
Switchers Breakdown | In Pairs, and side to side, and holding near foot, wrestlers attempt to scramble into control of opponent. |
Switchers HipHeist | In Pairs, and side to side, and holding near foot, wrestlers attempt to scramble into control of opponent. |
Tingalpa | This type of wrestling involves players attempting to push or pull an opposing player out of a circle or past a line. (This game version is suitable for younger players.) |
Toe Tackles | Pairs, holding each other’s shoulders, each tries to trip opponent to the mat. |
Tur Dur Er Rin | This is a pushing-and-pulling contest where players attempt to put each other on the ground. |
TurkStep | Pairs, locking forearms, each try to get behind the other. |
